With the production of special edition T-shirts, BOSS Orange has drawn people’s attention to save parrots.
Starting this in 2010 and continuing through today, BOSS Orange has provided international advocacy for the World Parrot Trust (WPT) through marketing efforts such as an online Facebook campaign and activities in fashion retail (hang tags on t-shirts, posters and counter displays, etc.).
Designed to build up awareness, empathy and support for endangered parrots, these campaigns has been accompanied by a second extraordinary step – the financial sponsorship of WPT projects in Bolivia, Costa Rica and Honduras. Combined, these activities have resulted in the outstandingly generous contribution of €50,000 (US$68,000 or £42,000).
