Peter Cowen currently lives in Liverpool, England. For as long as he can remember Peter has always had an interest in nature and the environment. However, this took the form of Physical Geography, for which he gained an undergraduate degree.
It was not until he spent time working in 2006 on the Tambopata Macaw Project, Peru, that his interest in conservation surfaced. Following on from his degree, he is now studying for a Master of Science in Conservation Biology at Manchester Metropolitan University. From June 2008, again working for the Macaw Project, Peter is looking forward to researching the foraging ecology of parrots in south-eastern Peru for his Masters project. His goal in life is to make a mark and educate people in conservation.
Peter is grateful of this chance in showing the journey of undertaking his project, and hopefully will encounter some adventures along the way! He looks forward to any questions or comments that you may have.
