Care in Captivity
Pet Suitability: Quiet but extremely active and playful. More susceptible to disease than most lories and lorikeets. May be housed in colonies, but may occasionally be aggressive to others.

Housing: Small, planted aviary, with many branches for the birds to climb on.
Enrichment: Provide areas for bathing, provide lots of branches for climbing, swings, ladders and unsprayed flowering branches.
