Care in Captivity
Pet Suitability:
Hand-reared birds are playful and affectionate. Is one of the least noisy members of this conure group. Has calmer disposition in ideal conditions.

Captive Status:
Uncommon in captivity.

Housing:
Aviary or suspended enclosure, minimum length 2m (6.5 ft).

Enrichment:
Bird safe chew toys such as branches, twigs and toys made of pine blocks; vegetable tanned leather chew toys and pine cones. Provide bowl for bathing.

Vertical box 10" x 10" x 18" (25.4cm x 25.4cm x 46cm)
