Care in Captivity
Pet Suitability:
Quiet, peaceful parrot. Highly susceptible to stress and disease. Apathetic if kept in singles or pairs; communal aviary best. This species is critically endangered in the wild and, as such, it is not recommended that these birds be kept as pets; captive breeding programs recommended.
