Care in Captivity
Pet Suitability:
Not excessively loud, good whistlers, gentle disposition. Is a hardy bird able to tolerate reasonable temperatures. Susceptible to eye infections.

Walk-in enclosure, minimum length 4.5m (14.7 ft).

Enrichment:
Provide large flight if possible. Install multiple perches of varying sizes, to facilitate exercise by flying.
