Care in Captivity
Pet Suitability:
Fairly quiet. Has melodic voice. Gentle bird that can be housed with other non-aggressive species outside the breeding season. Has difficulty acclimatizing to new surroundings; extremely susceptible to disease and stress. May initially refuse food. This is partially solved by placing the food as high up as possible, clearly visible to the bird.

Enrichment:
