Care in Captivity
Pet Suitability:
Fairly quiet bird, becomes accustomed to keeper quite quickly. Friendly; also will tolerate other non-aggressive species. Very active in early morning and evening. May be prone to eye and foot infections.

Walk-in enclosure, minimum length 7m (23 ft).

Enrichment:
Provide bird-safe, non-sprayed branches such as fir, pine, elder and willow; also provide flowering branches.
