Care in Captivity
Pet Suitability:
Quiet, docile nature, but playful. Shy at first, then confiding. Sensitive to new people in the environment.

Rare in aviculture.

Aviary or suspended enclosure, minimum length 2m (6.5 ft).

Enrichment:
Bird-safe, unsprayed fir, pine, willow or flowering branches, wooden block toys, vegetable tanned leather toys, foraging/puzzle toys, swings, ladders, ropes. Also provide, for bathing, overhead misters or shallow water bowls.

Vertical box 10" x 10" x 20" (25.4cm x 25.4cm x 50.8cm).
