Care in Captivity
Pet Suitability: Medium noise level. Usually not aggressive to other non-aggressive birds outside of breeding season. Vocal in morning and evening; quiet during the day. Tends to become obese.

Housing: Aviary or suspended enclosure, minimum length 3m (9.8 ft).
Enrichment: Provide bird-safe, unsprayed flowering, fir, pine, willow or elder branches, different sized perches, wooden or vegetable tanned leather toys, ladders, swings, ropes and puzzle/foraging toys.
