Care in Captivity
Pet Suitability:
Active and inquisitive. Quiet but not very shy; becomes accustomed to keeper quickly. May house in colony.

Captive Status:
Common, particularly in Australia.

Housing:
Walk-in enclosure, minimum length 3m (9.8 ft).

Enrichment:
Provide seeding grasses for foraging; also bird-safe, unsprayed flowering, pine, fir, willow and elder branches. Provide shallow water bowls or overhead misters for bathing.

Vertical box 8" x 8" x 14" (20.3cm x 20.3cm x 35.5cm).
