Colourization Adult: Male-probably green, with red wing patches; also a blue morph in which the general plumage was blue/green with a grey wash; breast, abdomen and undertail coverts slightly paler; head darker in colour and without grey wash; thin black line between cere and eye; black stripes to cheek and black thin band to neck linking with blue/green band; primary feathers green/blue; upperparts to tail blue/green; underparts grey; upper mandible red, lower black. Eye yellow. Female-narrow black stripe to forehead; black stripes to cheek not extending to neck; crown suffused with gray; upper mandible black.
