World Population:
5000-50,000

Range: Found in Seram, South Moluccas, Indonesia.

Habitat:
Found generally above 1200m (3936 ft), but as low as 800m (2624 ft). Occurs in primary montane forest and upper montane heathlands up to mountain summit.

Threat Summary:
There is evidence of a population decline. Threat unknown.

Least concern

Wild Diet:
Includes nectar and flowers.

Ecology:
Little known; assumed to be similar to other Eos species. Feeds on flowering trees. Seen in pairs or small groups.
