Hi all ,

I have posted about the Galah “alice “ that we found in our yard. Its been a week and haven’t found her owners as yet.

Anyways she has been extremley tame until the last 2 days she has started to bawk at coming out. Well today she has refused to come onto my hand and is now squawking at me and flapping everywhere. I have not changed anything at how I have been getting her out.

I have not even tried to get her on my hand....just putting my hand with a treat in for 5 - 10 mins. I have done this 3 times today and she will not even go near my hand. Is looking at the food, but will not come near me. I leave on a positive note.

Any ideas to what has happened?

As I have no idea as to where she has come from its really difficult. She is really scared of my OH and seems not to like men.

Still no change...she acts terrified of my hand. I have been slowly trying to get her used to my hand in there with treats and nothing. She watches, but will not attempt to come to me.
