We have several companion birds ranging from Love Birds to Amazons and a Grey.  We are in our 60’s and as part of our estate planning have made provision in our wills for the birds (as well as our 2 dogs).  Our planning includes providing for the birds to go to a well regarded rescue along with financial support for their keeping, but we would welcome any advice if there are better ways to provide for our birds should anything happen to us.  We do not have family or friends who would take the birds long term.
