An 11 day introduction to the Atlantic Rainforest and its unique wildlife at the Reserva Ecologica de Guapi Assu (REGUA) exploring the delights of the rainforest staying in a fabulous lodge with parakeets in the lodge gardens. 430 species of birds and 13 species of parrot in this reserve. Experience a conservation project in action.

Places are available to anyone wanting to join me on this trip no matter what country you come from. I regularly have people from lots of European countries (UK, Holland, France, Germany etc.) as well as the USA.

I will be going directly from my trip in Peru to meet up with everyone on this trip so I will be able to pick you up at Rio de Janeiro airport with a 2 hour drive as transfer to the Reserve.

£1200 (approximately $1850 at todays rate) includes all transfers from Rio to Regua and Regua to Rio, all accommodation (very well appointed lodge with ensuite bathrooms and air conditioning as well as a swimming pool), all food and drink (non-alcoholic), all local guides and 3 day trips external to Reserve (includes guide and driver).

Not included International flights, insurance, alcoholic drinks (although caparinhas are served every evening), souvenirs, tips and items of a personal nature.
