Why Should You Host a WPT Event?
Hosting a WPT event is a great opportunity for you to reach out to your community, meet new people and create a program that will help save parrots. Best of all you'll probably have a lot of fun while doing it.

Fundraising Success
With the right promotion, attention to a few details, and support from friends and family, you'll be sure to have an extraordinary event.

The Trust has put together the WPT Event Guide to help you organize the event from beginning to end, and to provide you with ideas and suggestions to help make it fun and successful. This toolkit is easily customized -- make any changes necessary to suit your needs.

The kit provides an easy step-by-step process that guides you if you've never held a WPT event before. If you already host a WPT event every year, our suggestions and ideas may help to make it even more successful.

Getting Started
To get started print, sign and submit the WPT Fundraising Proposal and Agreement form found on page 16 of the WPT Event Guide. Please ensure that we receive your submission at least one month prior to your event.

In addition to the information contained within the WPT Event Guide, we are happy to support your event by sending you WPT materials. Available are: brochures, newsletters, stickers, invitation/note cards, bookmarks and postcards. Please indicate what materials you require when you sign up. Once we have received your signed WPT Fundraising Proposal and Agreement form, we will be in touch with you to discuss which items would be most appropriate for your event, and will send everything you need to get started.
