This privacy policy was created to inform you about the type of information gathered and disseminated on this and all related World Parrot Trust websites. Data is collected only when visitors to these sites have consented for this to take place, any data collected is handled in line with the EU General Data Protection Policy (GDPR). Visitors to www.parrots.org and all related sites are guaranteed privacy.

Measuring Audiences

The only information we collect from a normal web site visit is the name of your internet service provider, the browser and type of machine you are using, the pages you request and the date and time you request them and the web site that referred you to us. For constituents in the UK and International, data is held databases and third-party providers both within the EEA (European Economic Area) and outside. For constituents in the United States, data is held within the country. All data held internally by each branch of the WPT and through third-party providers is handled sensitively and following all data protection guidelines.

Data Processing
Data is collected and store in line with GDPR guidelines for the benefit of your relationship with the World Parrot Trust. Data collected is only collected when you have consented to us doing so. Data entries are anonymized and deleted after a period of five years with no contact or earlier at the request of members or subscribers.

Social Media
Communication, engagement and actions taken through external social media platforms that this website and its owners participate on are subject to the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policies held with each social media platform respectively. To allow you to receive direct marketing and communications of interest from the World Parrot Trust, email addresses opted in to receive marketing will be utilized for retargeting on social media.
