Angela has been active in Indonesian nature conservation since 2011. Before joining the Indonesian WPT team, she managed a multiple-species wildlife rescue centre in North Sulawesi and implemented a songbird rescue centre in West Kalimantan. As a professional vet nurse and wildlife rehabilitator, she has rescued and rehabilitated a vast range of wildlife, including most Indonesian parrot species. Angela has also helped local veterinarians, nurses, keepers, volunteers and government officers build capacity for wildlife rescue efforts in Sulawesi and West Kalimantan. She is a strategic planner experienced in knowledge and quality management and is immeasurably passionate about wildlife and holistic approaches to nature conservation. Angela is excited to represent WPT's efforts, which she sees as a fantastic opportunity to share her skills for the benefit of the environment, local communities and future generations.
