A lifelong animal lover and tree hugger, Melodie enjoyed the companionship of a spicy African Grey parrot as a teen. Mel has always shared her voice about causes she believes in, and so working for an organization that protects endangered species and their habitats was obviously an ideal fit. As a writer with a background in marketing communications, Melodie enjoys the opportunity to put both her creative and organizational skills to use working on WPT’s various campaigns, videos, and other content and communications. Mel has been working for the WPT in a growing capacity since 2017.
